Employment Assistance Program
An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a proactive, short-term intervention program to assist employees who may be affected by personal or job related issues. It is funded by the employer as an employee benefit.
Our EAP service is delivered by qualified counsellors who have the skills and experience to help employees work through their mental health concerns.
Why EAP?
At some stage in their life most employees will experience personal difficulty, emotional trauma, or a mental health issue. It may or may not be work-related, however, it can have a significant impact on their ability to perform their job well, or even stay in their job.
It can also affect other employees around them and impact the business’ productivity, morale, turnover and absenteeism.
Many employers want to support a struggling employee, but often feel helpless in knowing how, after-all they are not trained counsellors!
An Employee Assistance Program is the perfect solution.
